Mexico City - Calendar

Start Dates - IH Mexico City

Students who are not complete beginners may start on any Monday, year round, and study for any length of time. However, complete beginners must start on one of the following start dates:

Complete Beginner Start Dates 2012: 

January 2, 16, 30; February 13, 27; March 12, 26; April 9, 23; May 7, 21; June 4, 18; July 2, 16, 30; August 13, 27; September 10, 24; October 8, 22; November 5, 20; December 3

 

Holidays - IH Mexico City

If a holiday falls during a weekday, there will not be classes held. These classes are not made up, nor is tuition prorated. Students may stay on with the host families on holidays.

Official Holidays 2012: 

January 1: New Year's Day

February 6: Constitution Day

March 21: Benito Juarez Day

April 1 to 8: Semana Santa (Holy Week/Easter Week)

May 1: Labor Day

September 16: Labor Day

November 2: Day of the Dead

November 14: Independence Day

December 18 to 31: Christmas Holiday

 

Arrival and Departure - IH Mexico City

Students should plan to arrive the Sunday before their start of classes and should plan to depart on the Saturday following the end of the course. Students may arrive a day or so early or depart a day or so late as needed. In this case, the student would pay for the extra nights of accommodation.
