Mexico City - Activities
Connecting the Mexican culture and the Spanish language is an important component of your Spanish immersion program. IH Mexico City organizes a regular program of social activities to compliment your Spanish study including welcome cocktail parties, conversation exchange evenings with Mexican students, lectures on different aspects of Mexican culture, films with commentaries, etc. These are all held in the school and are included in the course fees.
The school also organizes excursions to Mexico City's most interesting locations such as the Zócalo, outstanding museums, and national parks. Weekend exursions are organized to nearby cities or the Teotihuacan Pyramids. The weekend excursions are optional and at extra cost.

Week 1
- Monday - Welcome Party and Condesa Walking Tour
- Tuesday - Cooking class
- Wednesday - Mexican Arts & Crafts
- Thursday - Latin Dance Class
- Saturday - Full Day Excursion to Teotihuacan (at extra cost)
Week 2
- Monday - Cooking Class
- Tuesday - Visit to a Mexican Handicraft Market
- Wednesday - Mexican Film
- Thursday - Visit to the Zócalo
The school is also more than happy to help you arrange other activities that you would like to do such as sports, movies, live music, etc.
