Vejer de la Frontera - Course Information
Teaching Style
The defined levels are:
- Beginners
- Elementary
- Pre-intermediate
- Intermediate
- Upper-intermediate
- Advanced
- Superior
- Proficient
Upon completing a level, there will be a test if requested to evaluate your progress in the course, along with a school certificate. The school uses the most up to date textbooks which are based on the communicative method. Videos are also used to present different situations and different accents, and slides, graphics and transparencies are used to illustrate the world that surrounds the language.
La Janda believes that real learning is not limited to memorizing a series of facts isolated from their context and the surrounding world. Its goal is to immerse students in the Spanish way of life. Your teachers’ goal is to help you develop your linguistic skills, not only reading and writing, but more importantly, your speaking abilities. The team of professionals at La Janda will go out of their way to make you feel at home in the Spanish culture, learn to speak correctly, and to use the language in everyday situations. Grammar, vocabulary and culture are all learned in their natural combination by listening and speaking. In addition to the class schedule, you can get individual help during the teachers’ office hours. Rather than passively receiving a lecture, you will actively participate in the learning experience.
