Seville - Teen Program

CLIC OF SEVILLE, SPAIN SUMMER 2012 TEEN PROGRAM

Seville, located in Andalusia of southern Spain, is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the country and the one which best keeps alive the spirit of its traditions. An explosion of color and contrast, as well as the successful mix of the modern and traditional, means that Seville offers a wide range of cultural variety to cater to all tastes: flamenco, bullfighting, and a lively atmosphere in the streets due to the open and friendly nature of its people. The Guadalquivir River, María Luisa Park, the Cathedral, the Golden Tower and the Plaza de España are all places of enchantment where teens can feel the spirit of an eternally exciting city.

THE SCHOOL CLIC, Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural, founded in 1983, is a medium to large sized school with an international character specializing in the teaching of Spanish. The team of highly qualified teachers, who specialize in the assessment and development of language courses, is ready to transform your stay in Seville into an unforgettable experience. The main school is only steps away from the Town Hall, the Cathedral and the Royal Palaces, and there is a separate teen campus nearby. Professionally CLIC is part of the International House organization, recognized worldwide in language teaching and training. It also has the seal of quality for the teaching of Spanish (CEELE) given by the University of Alcalá de Henares.

THE COURSE All levels of Spanish are accommodated, and students are carefully grouped. Classes are held for four hours each day. The teachers are specially trained and experienced in teaching adolescents and are involved in all aspects of the course for its duration. They design and teach the study program in the morning, as well as designing and taking part in the wide range of cultural and free time activities in the afternoon, according to the tastes and needs of the students. Spanish classes range in size from 6-12 students per class, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

ACCOMMODATION In this program, the student stays with a host family.
Family Stay: Our families are specially chosen because they have experience with teenagers and like receiving them into their families. Students are housed in double rooms with a roommate assigned. Every effort is made to ensure that students are with a roommate of a different nationality. Full board is included in the family stay.

Airport pickup and return from the Seville airport is included in the accommodation cost.

ACTIVITIES A full activity program is included with this teen program. Activities occur every afternoon, and there is one half day and one full day excursion per week to nearby cities. Some examples of activities are: games, sports, workshops on Spanish customs, a party with young Spanish people who also study at the school, weekend excursions, visits to places of interest during the week, dance classes, Andalusian cooking, etc.
