Please carefully check the fees listed by competitive agencies. Even with their advertised discounts and special offers, because they add on other fees (often $100 or more), our total cost will (almost) always be less. Through us you pay what you would pay by registering directly with the school.
Playa del Carmen - Accommodations
ACCOMMODATIONS
All accommodation starts on Sunday evening and ends on Saturday morning. Extra nights can normally be arranged.
1. Host Families - highly recommended and where most students stay, includes breakfast and dinner. The single room is the same cost as a double room, but couples and roommate requests are accommodated. Distance from the school varies from a few minutes walk to a short bus ride.
2. School residence - Residence hall with 22 rooms (each with a private bathroom). The residence is located in the center of Playa del Carmen and is a 5 minute walk from the school. Each room has twin beds and a private bathroom as well as a desk, TV, ceiling fan, and air conditioning. The residence also is equipped with a cafeteria, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Students may choose between a room with bed and breakfast or a room with half board (breakfast and the evening meal). Double rooms must be booked with a companion.
2. Hotels - many available within a 5 minute walk from the school. Hotels range greatly in price and comforts, and any level you choose can be arranged. Singles or doubles with private bathrooms are available, and all include breakfast. Prices vary, so we ask for you to specify between low, mid or top range price. We will then inform you of the exact price in the category you have requested.
3. Apartments - for students staying over 4 weeks. These fully furnished apartments have fully equipped kitchens and are within walking distance of the school. One to two bedroom apartments can be privately rented or shared with other students. The living space would be shared, but each student would have his own bedroom. There is a damage deposit required for apartments.
