SPECIAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Becari has a close affiliation with the Centro de Esperanza Infantil, known in English as Oaxaca Street Children Grassroots. If you are interested in volunteering, there is a medical clinic, a school, English classes and other social services. Your class schedule can be adjusted to accommodate your unpaid volunteer position.

STUDENTS

Becari students come from all over the world, over twenty nationalities. The minimum age for study is 18 or completion of high school, unless accompanied by a studying parent or adult. Children of studying parents may be accommodated in private classes. We have a wide range of ages, from college students to retirees and everything in between. There are classes for seven levels of Spanish knowledge, from absolute beginners to very advanced students who simply want to polish their skills. Students take an exam in order to evaluate their level on their first Monday of classes.

Calendar - open during Christmas holidays

You can begin classes on any Monday throughout the year. The length of study can be for as little time as one week or for up to six months of study.
