Medical Spanish Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina

In order to participate in this class you must be at least a high beginner level of Spanish.

This course is specifically designed for doctors, nurses, social workers and other health care professionals. The program focuses on medical terminology and information to develop skills for improving communication with Spanish speaking clients. Special attention will be given to cultural differences between the western world and Latin America including information on how subjects such as health, illness and family issues are dealt with by the Latin American community. You will also visit a hospital or clinic and attend local lectures on subjects such as Traditional Medicine in Latin America.
