Cordoba - Travel Information
You arrange your own flight to Spain. Most students take a U.S. flight to Madrid. Thanks to its location (a junction between the north and south of Spain), it is easy to reach Córdoba from the international airports of Seville, Málaga and Madrid. The high speed AVE train gets you to Córdoba from Madrid in 1 hour 40 minutes. You receive a 25% discount on the fare when you show your international air ticket. You can view the AVE schedule at Renfe, the national rail network www.renfe.es. You should arrive on Sunday, as that is when your accommodation starts. When you arrive in Córdoba there are many easy and safe transportation options. We will send you complete instructions, and you will have either your family’s address, flat or apartment information. You can also request a train station pickup at additional cost if you know your arrival time on the AVE.
Thanks to its convenient location (on the main road and rail line south from Madrid), it is easy to reach Cordoba from the international airports of Seville, Malaga and Madrid.
The high speed AVE train gets you here from Madrid (400 km.) in 1 hour 40 minutes, and from Seville (130 km.) in only 40 minutes. It takes 2 hours to get here from Malaga (180 km.) by regular train.
