Cordoba - Course Information
Course Information
All levels of Spanish, from complete beginners to very advanced are accommodated. The goal is efficient learning and instructors use the direct and communicative way of teaching. From the very first day Spanish is used, while working with the latest methods and dynamic and participative techniques. In addition to that, the language instruction is combined with social and cultural aspects which enable the students to communicate in common every day situations. Everything is centered around the student, such as the learner’s communicative needs, learning style and active participation in the classroom tasks. All teachers are professionals who have successfully completed the International House teacher training course. They are always supervised by the Director of Studies in constant coordination to evaluate the personal progress of each student. The academy knows that the best way to learn a language is within the country and living with the people. Therefore, we recommend that you participate in the “intercambio” program, which is a language exchange between Spanish and English learners at the school on a private basis. The average class size is 4 to 5 students, with an absolute maximum of eight students per class.

STUDENTS
Coming from many different countries, Europeans are the highest
percentage among the academy's students. The minimum age is 18 except when coming with an organized group through a school. There is a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Some adults come as couples or with a friend, but many arrive unaccompanied and are quickly able to find interesting friends both in the school and in the city. The reasons for studying are just as varied...some for professional purposes, others for travel, and even those who just enjoy the cultural and intellectual stimulation. Students also come at any level of Spanish, ranging from absolute beginners to advanced.
