On the Road Series: Four trips a year
The latest way to travel with Language Link! Our On The Road eight day trips in a small group allow for a wonderful cultural overview to some of our most fascinating locations. Along with the visit you will have a one hour daily Spanish class, at your level and geared toward the locale. You'll be traveling with either Kay, the Director of Language Link and/or Maru Ramos, an exceptional teacher. They will also enhance your conversation skills by helping your Spanish as we go. It's a great way to learn and produces rapid improvement. These trips cover in a short time the amazing highlights of each place. We have been visiting these places for years and would like to share our own expertise with you while you discover or re-discover. We also attract a great international group of people for these trips, and that provides much of the enjoyment. Our groups are always limited in size so that you will never have the big tour bus herd treatment.
We have already led four amazing trips, Chiapas in December 2010 and November 2011, Guatemala in May 2011 and Peru in August 2011.
On The Road comments from a few participants. References given upon request.
The trip was superior, a combination of beautiful sightseeing, friendly socializing and Spanish revival. The Spanish classes were much more than I expected, both the lessons, but also the general atmosphere that encouraged speaking Spanish. I feel much more into it again. - Sieglinde Lug, Denver, Colorado
It was a very good trip. I enjoyed most the sights, the leaders, and the group as a whole. The quality of Spanish instruction was superior. – Colleen Olmsted, Woodstock, Georgia.
It was a lifelong dream for me to see the archaeological sites of Chiapas, and I thoroughly enjoyed my travel companions. A great trip! - Adela Medellín, Cuernavaca, Mexico
We thought the value of the trip cost was superior. The Spanish instruction was very good, and we appreciated being with other people at or near our level. We’re not the best candidates for language study, but we do try hard and found it to be a fun way to learn, plus apply some of what we learned. We would love to plan another trip with you. After all, we are founding members of the Royal Order of the Jaguars! (this was a fun award given in a closing ceremony to all trip participants) - - Doug and Candace Schryver, Cuernavaca, Mexico
What I liked most about the trip was the small congenial group to travel with, and I never felt we were on the tourist treadmill. An "Off the Beaten Path" trip that didn't miss any of the major sites to see in the area. - Dorothy Wick, Cuernavaca, Mexico
We loved it! It was a wonderful experience. So many tours and experiences included in the cost made it a great value. It was great that the instruction was individualized for the daily hour class. And we also loved the instructor’s presence all day to continue our learning and use of the language. Having immediate feedback and correction was terrific. We would absolutely make another Spanish On The Road Trip with Language Link/Spanish Language Institute? We got to see the highlights of Guatemala in one week! And it was so well-planned and organized. Can’t beat that! - Jack and Carol Lowe, Punta Gorda, Florida
